Terms of service.

By booking or purchasing services from April Dautlich/Bison Rising, you (“the client”) agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read carefully before engaging in any services.

1. Scope of Practice

I provide Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and energetic support. These services are intended for personal growth, stress relief, and self-exploration. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. I do not diagnose, prescribe, treat, or cure any medical or mental health conditions.

By engaging in services, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your own wellbeing, decisions, and outcomes.

2. Client Responsibility

By engaging in services, you confirm that:

You are mentally and emotionally stable enough to participate in energy and emotional work.
You understand these services are complementary and do not replace medical or psychological treatment.
You agree to seek professional help if you are in crisis, require medical care, or are experiencing an emergency.
You take full responsibility for your own wellbeing and choices throughout this process.

3. Confidentiality

All sessions and communication are treated as confidential, in accordance with professional ethical standards. Information will only be disclosed:

With your written consent;
If required by law;
If there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.

I may reference anonymised examples or client experiences in educational or marketing content. In these cases, no personally identifying details will be shared.

4. Payment & Booking

Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Prices are listed in GBP (£). International clients are responsible for any currency conversion or bank fees.
All payments are non-refundable.
Packages or sessions not used within 3 months of purchase will expire, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
No partial refunds will be provided for incomplete packages.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed sessions, will be forfeited without refund.
If I must reschedule, I will provide alternative times as soon as possible.

6. Late Arrivals

Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, the session will still conclude at the original finish time to honour your schedule and mine.

7. Messaging & Support Between Sessions

Where packages include mid-week voice note or text support:

Support is limited to the agreed timeframe.
Messages will be responded to during business hours, typically within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays).

For all other services, communication is limited to scheduling and administration only.

8. Disclaimer of Results

I cannot and do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from services. The effectiveness of EFT, and energetic support varies between individuals.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of services, including but not limited to: physical, emotional, financial, or relational outcomes.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless April Dautlich and Bison Rising from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of services.

10. Intellectual Property

All written materials, recordings, exercises, meditations, and resources provided during or after sessions remain the intellectual property of April Dautlich. They may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that region.

12. Amendments

I reserve the right to update or amend these Terms of Service at any time. The most recent version will always be available on my website, and continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
