I collect your name, contact details, emergency contact, session notes, and any information you choose to share during sessions.
2. Why I Collect It (Legal Basis)
I collect this information as part of delivering a contracted professional service. This is also required to meet my legal and ethical obligations.
3. How I Store and Protect Your Data
Your data is stored securely and access is restricted. Digital files are password protected; paper records are kept in a locked cabinet.
4. How Long I Keep Your Information
I retain client records for 7 years after the therapy ends, in line with industry guidelines, unless a longer period is legally required.
5. Sharing Information
I do not share your information without your consent unless required by law, or in situations where there is a risk of harm. I may discuss aspects of our work anonymously in professional supervision.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data. You may also object to how your data is processed.
