Something brought you here — and that's enough to start.
I'm April, an accredited EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) practitioner based in Hurstpierpoint. EFT — also known as tapping — is a simple, gentle technique that calms the nervous system and helps release the stress, anxiety and emotional patterns that keep us feeling stuck. It's backed by science, surprisingly quick to learn, and something you'll feel working from your very first session.
I host regular events and workshops in the local area — from group EFT sessions to explorations of mindset, limiting beliefs and personal growth. All are welcoming, relaxed spaces where curiosity is the only requirement.

There's a version of you that knows exactly who she is. She's not louder or braver than you — she's just no longer shrinking.
This month we're tapping through the patterns that keep us small. The fear of being seen. The self-doubt that surfaces the moment we try to step forward. The old stories about whether we're allowed to take up space.
Through guided EFT we'll gently loosen the grip of those limitations and reconnect with something steadier underneath — a confidence that doesn't need to perform, and a sense of worth that belongs to you regardless of what anyone else thinks.
With Taurus season grounding us and the Full Flower Moon inviting us to bloom, the timing couldn't be more fitting.

June Group EFT Tapping
Halfway through the year and somewhere along the way, joy got quietly pushed to the bottom of the list.
This month, we're tapping back into it. Not the performed kind — not gratitude lists and forced positivity — but the real thing. The lightness that comes when you stop for long enough to notice how far you've actually come.
We'll work with the exhaustion, the disconnection, the nagging sense that you should be further along by now. And underneath all of that, we'll look for what still lights you up — because it's still there, even when it doesn't feel like it.
With the Summer Solstice bringing the longest light of the year and an invitation to let your creative fire breathe again, June feels like exactly the right moment to remember what joy actually feels like in your body.

So many of us have learned to equate stillness with laziness, slowing down with falling behind, and needing to stop with some kind of personal failing. We push through the depletion because stopping feels worse than continuing. Until it doesn't.
This month we're tapping into the guilt around rest. The productivity pressure that never quite switches off. The part of you that finds it almost impossible to simply receive — space, support, stillness — without immediately filling it back up again.
Because rest isn't a reward for finishing everything on your list. It's medicine. And your nervous system has been waiting for permission to exhale.
